Guidelines for CPD

Recording of CPD
15 CPD points need to be accrued every calendar year.
Teachers who fail to complete 15 points a year of CPD may have their Teaching Membership status withdrawn.
Teachers must register CPD hours via the main BWY site.
To do this, visit the national BWY website (opens in new window). Then:
- Under Members login at the top left of the page, enter your BWY membership number and a password. Initially, this is your postcode.
- After logging in, you will be required to change your password.
- Click 'Your CPD' from the list now displayed under Members Area.
- Click 'Add a new event' to access the input form for your CPD details.
- Remember to log out when you have finished.
It is your responsibility to record your own CPD points.
